This is an original picture book for "Final Fantasy IX" that celebrates the 25th anniversary of the release of "Vivi and Grandpa's Beginning Story," which takes place shortly before the events of
"Final Fantasy IX." "Vivi" appears before Grandpa Kwan, who is trying to master the art of food, "food is emptiness." The story follows the mysterious life of a boy who fell from the sky and a master who lives alone. This is a prequel that depicts the gradual days leading up to "Vivi's" departure.
