A stunning early century Crocodile miniature Coin Purse.

Kid Leather to the inside

Copper Top Knob.

I’d say it’s a Sovereign Purse.

It will hold three Sovereigns comfortably, a not inconsiderable sum in the early days of the 20^th century.

It can also hold six sixpences or many stamps.

It is a very tactile pretty tiny little purse.

A delightful diminutive example for the collector.

 

Measures: 3.6cm x 5cm. (1 3/8” x 2”)

 Weight: 22g.

 

CONDITION – This is in good original used condition and showing wear consistent with age and use.
