Note: Please study the images carefully to determine the condition of this vintage photograph, as it may not be in perfect condition. It may contain wrinkles, cracks, and possibly even tears due to its age and how it was handled before it got to us. A scanner may interpret colors and contrast differently than human eyes will, so it is possible that the actual photograph may be slightly darker or lighter in person.

1984 Press Photo Patrons wait in line for World's Fair Tickets at City Gate

This is an original press photo. Patrons wait in line for discounted tickets at the world's fair City Gate at 6 p.m. Monday. World's fair contractors who refuse to sign an agreement that details disbursement of the $17.5 million state-guaranteed loan to the exposition will not be paid for their work, a copy of the agreement shows. The 32-page agreement also says that contractors will be held responsible for any legal action taken by subcontractors they hired who do not sign the agreement. World's Fair in Louisiana, Crowds and Lines Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches. Photo is dated 07-10-1984.
