The heart of the system is a high flow 100% all welded stainless steel muffler. All the muffler seams are fully welded and it features internal baffles, so there’s no packing or wadding to wear out. The muffler’s internal construction allows increased exhaust flow while delivering a powerful, throaty exhaust note, which sounds great outside but is unobtrusive inside the cab. The muffler’s shell is embossed with the CGS logo.
The exhaust pipes are made from large diameter aluminized or stainless steel mandrel-bent tubing. The shape and diameter of the exhaust tubing is optimized for volume and exhaust gas velocity. CGS mandrel bends the tubing for smooth bends and to make sure the pipe maintains its size and shape throughout the entire length. Tubes that aren’t mandrel bent can lose a percentage of their diameter in sharp bends. The finishing touch on this system is the T-304 stainless steel exhaust tip. The tip is highly polished for a great appearance, and the clampless design makes it a snap to install.
The cumulative result is a cat-back exhaust system that outflows, and sounds and looks better than your stock system.
