Condition: Generally in good vintage condition with age-related wear and discoloration/staining as expected. Some may have a fair bit of staining/marks on the front/rear covers - see photos. Some issues have the recipients name written on the front cover, usually towards the top right corner. There are no missing pages - some covers/pages may be loose. Most pages have tanning and some have marks - all are readable with exception of pages 89 and 90 in the June issue due to a tear/damage near the top right of page 89 (see last photo). Please see photos, which are the actual magazines you will receive and form part of the description.

Dublin Opinion was an Irish satirical magazine published monthly from 1922 to 1968. It was founded by cartoonists Arthur Booth and Charles E Kelly and writer Thomas J Collins and launched on the eve of the Irish Civil war. The magazine's editorial stance was carefully balanced between Free Staters and Republicans. It was a showcase for Irish cartooning, including work by Bill Glenn, W H Conn, Rowel Friars, Grace Gifford and many others. The motto of the magazine was "Humour is the Safety Valve of a Nation".
