Ladder Rack Rear Bar (11523) by BackRack®. This is a 2-inch reinforced steel crossbar that mounts near your tailgate just above the level of your truck's bed. Hooks are located to match the width of either of BackRack's cab protectors, and these bars effectively serve as rear mounting points for ladders and other items that are too long to fit inside your bed area. Diagonal slant provides a longer length before items overhang the vehicle, and lower height aids clearance in enclosed garages.

Because the diagonal slant provides a longer amount of distance to the rear of your vehicle than high-mounted rear ladder racks, longer items will not protrude as far past your tailgate. And although roof clearance height is greatly improved with the Ladder Rack Rear Bar, it is still recommended to proceed with caution before entering any enclosed areas.
The Ladder Rack Rear Bar is designed to bolt on easily to your rear stake pockets, and should not require drilling on most make and model pickup trucks. The Rear Bar surface has been finished with a durable layer of black powder coat.
