Old English Sterling Silver Bowl Centerpiece with Handles Hallmarked 19th C


Description : 


 
George VIII period sterling sterling silver bowl with handles. Circular in shape, it rests on a molded pedestal. The plain bowl has wide rims, the lip of which is inscribed with the various hallmarks of title, guarantee, and master silversmith. It has two banded handles meeting at the base. Elkington & Co Birmingham, England,1937.
