Based on archaeological materials, largely unpublished, a wide range of written sources and literature, the author tells about the origin and historical fate of the tribes of the south of Eastern Europe in the Copper-Bronze Age and the early Iron Age (3rd - 1st millennium BC). The main attention is paid to the issues of chronology, migration, trade and cultural ties, relationships with neighboring peoples, as well as acquaintance with unique works of Scythian-Greek art.The book is intended for archaeologists and all those interested in the history of world culture.
