This elongated bronze cent featuring the State of Massachusetts featuring Massachusetts Bay, Cape Cod and the Islands of Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard along with a compass - There is discolor to right of design - doesn't look like zinc or verdigris -  - The reverse shows a bit of the reverse of a Lincoln Memorial cent.  

The Bay State imprint is an iconic design and a wonderful addition to your collection. The coin was minted at Philadelphia with a business strike type, the circulated coin showcases State of Massachusetts design, symbolizing relationship of the state and the Atlantic Ocean.
