Product Introduction
In an internal combustion engine using a spark plug, a high voltage of 20,000-35,000V is required to discharge the spark plug in the combustion chamber during the compression process.
The ignition coil is a type of transformer that converts the 12V battery voltage to the higher voltage required for spark plug discharge.
It basically consists of a primary coil, secondary coil, and core (iron core), and the case is filled with epoxy resin to ensure insulation between those parts.

In such cases, the ignition coil may be deteriorating or malfunctioning.
The engine does not rev up when accelerating.
The engine is hard to start.
Idling is unstable.
The check engine light (MIL) comes on.

When the ignition coil is replaced...
Comfortable driving will return.
Idling becomes stable.
Fuel consumption improves.

When replacing the ignition coil, it is recommended to replace all cylinders.
If an ignition coil failure is found in one cylinder, the ignition coils of other cylinders may also deteriorate, resulting in early failure, so replacement of all cylinders is recommended.

■When replacing the ignition coils, we also recommend checking the spark plugs.
Continued use of worn spark plugs increases the required voltage and places a greater burden on the ignition coil.
Since this may be a cause of failure, we recommend that you also check the spark plug when replacing the ignition coil.
