Please take a moment to read the description, condition and browse the photos. Description: This is a great watercolor. It reminds me of Halloween and The Wizard of OZ, all that mystique wrapped up into one. It is by artist Marion Quimby and titled "Newcastle /2", from Two Q Gallery & Studio of Rochester, New Hampshire. This painting was the winner of 1966 Purchase Prize at WCSH-TV First Annual Art Festival, Portland, Maine. This watercolor depicts a scarecrow out in the middle of a chopped down cornfield with a winterly snow cover and a purple mountain range on the horizon. The painting retains it's original oak frame and linen ma along with the labels on the back. I will have to tape the back paper cover as it is tattered from the frame. Just a great painting, it's different, and will very much be that subject of many conversations in your home.
Measures approx.; sight size 17" x 24", frame 27" x 33" (43cm x 61cm, 68.5cm x 84cm)

Condition:

The painting is in very good condition, I have not inspected it out of it's frame. The oak frame with some wear and the corners have a little play. Overall displays very well, just give the frame a little lemon oil. Please view all photographs as they are part of the condition report.
