This listing features an outstanding 1943 Netherland Indies Muntbiljet 10 Gulden Queen Wilhelmina banknote, graded PMG 50 EPQ About Uncirculated. The front of the note has a red on white underprint with the portrait of Queen Wilhelmina at the right and the Crowned supported Arms on the left. The reverse side of the note is green and has the Penal code in Dutch and Indonesian texts. Also, you have a pilot with a plane, a soldier and a naval ship at the center. The Nederlandsche Bank issued Dutch Guilder banknotes in 11 different denominations, including this 10 Dutch Guilder banknote (Muntbiljet 1943). They are part of the Dutch Guilder banknotes series. The Nederlandsche Bank started issuing these 10 Dutch Guilder banknotes in 1943. This 10 Gulden banknote was a means of payment in the Netherlands during the German occupation in WWII.
