It is rapidly virucidal, fungicidal and effective against streptococcal organisms, used in treating streptococcal tonsillitis, sore throat, oral thrush, and infected inflammatory conditions of the mouth and pharynx. Ingredients include Povidone-Iodine. Use as directed by a healthcare professional for gargling or rinsing the mouth.

Directions

1. Use Betadine Mouthwash as a gargle or mouthwash. 2. For gargling, adults and children 6 years and over should use 10-15ml of Betadine Mouthwash in half a glass of water and gargle for 30 seconds, then spit out. 3. For mouthwash, adults and children 6 years and over should use 5-10ml of Betadine Mouthwash in half a glass of water and rinse the mouth for 30 seconds, then spit out. 4. Repeat up to 4 times a day as required. 5. Do not swallow. 6. If symptoms persist, consult your healthcare professional.
