Antique French Elegant Gilt Patinated Large Bronze Pendulum Clock 19th Century


Description : 

 
Elegant chiseled patinated, and gilded bronze depicting Fame riding Pegasus, based on a model by Coysevox, the whole on a rocky mound in which the movement is inscribed. This gilded bronze clock is decorated with a laurel wreath and palmettes, Roman numerals. Rectangular base with palmettes, scrollwork, and cornucopias.
