This is a wonderful book of Children Playing for Children's Book Collectors! The book's original Copyright was 1934 by Ernest Flammarion, Paris. Then it was rewritten into English in 1935 by Rose Celli, who
made the translation from the original French stories and it was copyrighted by the Artists and Writers Guild, Inc., New York.
The French book from which this book was reproduced was designed by Pere Castor (aka Paul Faucher). In 1927 he founded the
"French Bureau of Education".
This book belonged to my Mom who was born in 1924 (See pic #4) so we are the original Owners.
I took pictures of the front, back, spine, middle, front inside cover, and back inside cover to give you a good idea of the quality of this
90 year old book.
It is written in large print which is easy for a beginner-reader to read and has beautiful color illustrations by Pere Castor.
It was "Printed in the U.S.A." (See pic #4).
The book has 8 interior pages with pictures and the story written on both sides.
The book measures 12" tall x 9 1/2" wide.
The book weighs 4.5 ounces without the packaging materials.
