Vintage Matcha Bowl by the first generation of Soryu Wakuha, Kyoyaki Fuku (character: Kenninji Temple, Masushu)

This is a Kyoto ware Fuku tea bowl made by the first generation Wakuha Soryu.
His pen name was Takeda Masushu of Kenninji Temple.

Comes with original box (with two side panels), original fabric, and bookmark.
The tea bowl has a ceramic seal of "Soryu" (Image 18), and the back of the lid has the inscription and signature of "Kennin Yishū" (Image 2).

- There is tea staining around the base due to age (Image 17).
・No leaks.



-There is dirt on the bottom of the box.
・There is a stain on the bookmark (image 20).

[First generation Wakuha Soya (1907-1979)]
Born in Kanazawa City in 1907.
He studied general pottery under the first Suwa Sozan.
He studied general design under Senkuma Shoroku.
In 1942, he became an art conservationist.
In 1952, he donated three sets of tableware consisting of 17 pieces each to Ise Shrine.
Died in 1979.
