1974 Press Photo Car Accident, New Orleans Alfred Edwards killed on bridge

This is an original press photo. Car Accident, New Orleans; This car driven by Alfred Edwards, 35 on the Mississippi River Bridge early Sunday was involved in a head-on collision that killed Edwards. Police said the car struck the bridge railing and veered in to oncoming traffic. Edwards was thrown from the car and was pronounced dead at Charity Hospital. Photo measures 10 x 8.25inches. Photo is dated 09-02-1974.
