NASA Apollo 5 Launch Commemorative Grouping
My Father was one of the team members who created and launched Apollo Series from beginning through number 19. I've put together a few of his saved memories to commemorate the launch of apollo number five. I also included a piece of Kapton foil that my dad had pulled from its construction.
The last two photos are not included in this offer, they are a picture of my Father with the team when they assisted in Apollo 13s return and one is his medal of freedom presented by president Nixion.
The medallion contains metal from both Columbia and the Eagle. Not mailed Apollo 11 envelope. The certificate was presented to my father, who was a part of the aerospace team that was responsible for creating the hardware that took said astronauts to the moon . For the NASA historical enthusiasts.
My father was recruited with a small group of people when the NASA program was orchestrated and worked on coding and the ability for spacecraft to have a brain to communicate into physical action. Nixon awarded my fathers the medal of freedom.
Last two photos not included in purchase.

I really thought that collectors would enjoy my efforts of putting together groupings of memorabilia from the same Apollo launches. I mean, what’s the purpose of collecting history if you can’t put together something visually? to my creative mind, put it in a box frame and hang it like a piece of artwork to be appreciated. But every single grouping of information by Apollo launch number that I have layer out for purchase, had not been of interest to you folks.
I am just taking back by the lack of interest. Pricing has a lot to do with what each individual item is selling for combined. (also recognize that eBay takes somewhere between 25 and 35% of the sale.)
I’ve deleted several groupings now and I guess you folks are only interested in buying piece by piece. I don’t know if I have the patience for that. The only other thing I’d like to say is that I am astounded at all the different types of products on eBay that are forgeries and you have no idea. (I’ve been captivated by the whole coin app thing and so I started paying attention to that and I didn’t realize that 90% of the collectors coins on eBay are fake. So many things I have a quite a bit of Kapton foil foil that my father required from a a couple different launches of significance, but proving it to you all as a waste of my time and money, but you’ll totally willingly buy it from someone not knowing if it’s real or not.) well I’m dying of cancer selling family wear so that I can keep rent paid. But I’m just a little bummed by the public view on these things. Happy New Year!! I’m ready to rock the new year! Defy the odds!!
