The back reads “THROUGH THE MOST POWERFUL INTERCESSION OF THE VIRGIN MOTHER OF GOD. LET US PRAY GOD FERVENTLY THAT THOSE WHO SUFFER PERSECUTION, IMPRISONMENT AND HARDSHIP MAY BE CONSOLED WITH THE NECESSARY HELP OF HIS DIVINE GRACE. HIS HOLINESS POPE PIUS XIII”.
