Graduate from The Teacher’s College, now the University of Montevallo, where she graduated in 1934.
She taught us several regions in Alabama until holding the Assistant Supervisor for Vicational Economics for the State of Alabama.
She became quite an accomplished artist, paining in watercolors, oils and pastels.
She was also an accomplished musician.  She was a member of the Colonial Dames, Daughters of the Revolution and the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
She passed away at age 104 in Selma, Al.  She wanted to be remembered for her Faith, Love of Art and all things Fresh and Beautiful.
