Japan Post will phase out its low-cost international shipping with insurance by the end of 2025.
Therefore, starting from mid-December 2025, Economy Shipping will switch to a non-insured method. (Tracking availability varies by country)

For SpeedPAK Economy -eligible countries, shipments will continue to include insurance and tracking.
For high-value items, shipping may be upgraded to FedEx, depending on the destination.
