This is a charming vintage 80's "As Good As His Mother Ever Made" ceramic figurine. Measures 5" tall. There is a scuff mark on the arm of the figure and a tiny chip on the underside of the pie's crust (see photos). Apart from this, the figure is fine.

Features a child proudly carrying a freshly-baked pie wrapped up in a kitchen towel. The level of detail in both the sculpt of the figure and in the hand painting is really quite remarkable, and it brings a bit of warmth wherever you choose to put it. On the underside of the figure, you can see a small heart that has been pressed into the ceramic during production. It would make a nice kitchen or dining room table decoration either year round or just during holidays.

Originally released in 1989 by Enesco Corporation as part of Mabel Lucie Attwell's Memories of Yesterday collection.
