Ash glaze series

While respecting "Koseto", this is expressed in a modern design that values ​​spaciousness and white space. The simple and warm texture of the natural ash glaze goes well with any type of cuisine.

The main reason for the name mike is that the pattern of the three types of ash glaze applied in different ways resembles that of a calico cat.

It is also said that the model for the maneki-neko, a cat that is loved as a cat that brings happiness, is a calico cat.

Three types of ash glaze are luxuriously layered in the order of earth ash (brown) → pine ash (green) → straw ash (white).

*The ingredients in the raw materials react during firing to produce iron powder, and air is trapped during the molding process with the clay, which may form air bubbles during firing and appear as small holes on the surface.
