This hand painted Limoges porcelain cup and saucer were decorated by Atelier Le Tallec. This was made exclusively for Place Vendome, the famous square in Paris, known for its luxury shops and neoclassical architecture. Both pieces are signed with LT and the date letters RR for 1987. They have the artists initials SF. The cup measures just over 2 1/4" in height and the same in diameter at the opening. It holds a little over 4 ounces. The saucer measures 4 5/8" in diameter. I believe this is a mismatched set, but in the same pattern, and probably from the same set of dishes. The base of the cup measures approximately 2 1/8" in diameter, but the place where the cup rests on the saucer is only about 1 5/8" in diameter. The cup seems a little too big for the saucer, though it is not really apparent when it is being displayed, and I didn't notice this until I was closely inspecting the set. Both pieces are in great condition. There are no chips or cracks and overall light surface wear. The base of the saucer has some surface marks on the unglazed foot.

 Some history on Atelier Le Tallec;
  Le Tallec insists on every design, every part of a design and even its minutest line, being drawn by hand only. No mechanical process is ever used. In practice, this means that, for example, a medium size vase represents 15 hours of hand work
Camille Le Tallec (1902-1991) was a graduate of Ecole De Louvre, and started his porcelain decorating company in 1928. It operated until 2014 and had a long relationship with Tiffany & Co.
