Alpha Chi Omega members from Louisiana State attending their sorority's National Convention in Dallas, Texas, at the Marriott Motor Hotel this week (June 20-24) are pictured above (left to right): Misses Sharon Burkhead, Tricia Davis, Joyce Hoyt, Mrs. David A. Spring, Province President for Louisiana; Misses Barbara Wilderman, Mary Jo Cicero, president of the Louisiana State University chapter and delegate to the Convention, and Sue Gambrell. The Louisiana State University students are the daughters of (respectively) Mr. and Mrs. Paul Burkhead of Le Beau; Silas N. Davis of Brookhaven, Mississippi; George Hoyt, of Lecompte; Doctor and Mrs. M. N. Wilderman of New Orleans; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Cicero of New Orleans. Miss Gambrell is from Sicily Island. Over 800 members from 109 college chapters and 260 alumnae groups of the 83 year-old sorority, founded at DePauw University in 1885, are in attendance. Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches.
