Encyclopedia of Busk is a regional type encyclopedic reference book, containing in the register over 3000 entries with information about Busk – a city with more than a thousand-year history, and today a small district center of Lviv region. The book contains information about the most prominent topographic elements of the urban space of Busk (religious buildings, memorial complexes, monuments of culture, architecture, archeology and urban planning, streets,squares, suburbs, microtoponyms and hydronyms, cultural, administrative and educational institutions); biographies of famous personalities who were born, studied, lived for some time or worked in the city or its surroundings (busk princes, starostas, didychi, castellans, gatekeepers, burgomasters, city mayors, heads of city administration, church hierarchs, representatives of socio-political institutions, famous cultural figures.
