Nice unsigned Alex Martin stereoview of the town of Black Hawk Colorado. Black Hawk was established in 1859. Gold was discovered there and the town prospered until the mines petered out. Black Hawk is currently (2021) the least populous city in the State of Colorado. This image is unsigned, the Amon Carter Museum has this identical view with Martin’s paper tag on the back. Very light spotting on the images and mount. The back does have some soiling.
