The hardcover on this book is in good condition and the binding is tight. Pages do have a slight tan. Nameplate on inside front cover and gift inscription on first blank page neatly written with fountain pen.  Pages have had very little use.

I seem to recall that AAers, back before the Big Book was written, read this book for guidance and inspiration. But when I google it, I can't find anything supporting it. So, it either was in an article I read, or I dreamed it years ago. Or it could have been something the Groupers read. I just don't know. Either way, this is getting to be a pretty scarce book, and it did sell a lot of copies in the UK and here when it first came out.  Upon investigation, it is pretty much in line with philosophies of both the OG and AA.
