This is an original press photo. China: This is a view of a "part of the petroleum chemical equipment" newly installed at China's Daqing Oil Field. According to the Xinhua News Agency, Daqing is the first big oil field developed in the early 1960s and has registered sustained high yields for the past 16 years. And according to the news agency, China's petroleum output increased to 104,050,000 tons in 1978 which is over 30 times the total output of more than 3,000,000 tons produced by China from 1904 to 1949.
