Wild Bill Hickok, a legendary trapper and revolvering, is looking for a white buffalo that is up to mischief in the Black Hills. He wants to succumb to cure himself in this way of nightmares in which he is attacked by the beast. Haustling Crazy Horse from the Lakota tribe has the same goal - he wants to take revenge on the animal for having trampled his daughter to death. The two men make friends and go hunting for the mystical beast together
