Normally, the most frequently blown point is the connection between nickel-chrome wire and faston tab.

The contact resistance bewteen nickel-chrome wire and faston tab become bigger when heating element is oxidized. If the faston tab terminal can't withstand working temperature of more than more than 390°F, then it could be easily blown.
