Buyer to pay postage for a 4 pound 2 ounce package.

Ebay now has a first class envelope shipping label for 1 to 3 ounces that will include “tracking”.  It is only valid for trading/sports cards, stamps, coins, and postcards that sell for under $20.  Anything else, like a part of a game, label, old greeting card, etc., will need to go New Ground Advantage for about $4 - $5 to get the tracking. If it’s something else that fits in an envelope and isn’t rigid or too large, it can go for the 73-97 cent normal rate but without tracking.

 NOTE THAT EBAY IS NOW COLLECTING SALES TAX FOR MOST BUYERS’ STATES and VAT for international buyers.

WHEN PURCHASING INEXPENSIVE ITEMS AND SHIPPING BY JUST US FIRST CLASS ENVELOPE (A 73¢ FOREVER STAMP) TRACKING IS NOT PROVIDED.  BUYER IS TO WAIT 30 DAYS FOR IT TO ARRIVE BEFORE ANY REFUND WILL BE CONSIDERED.  OTHERWISE, CHOOSE GROUND ADVANTAGE WHICH HAS INSURANCE AND TRACKING.

 Method of Shipping:  If the package is light enough to make economic sense, the New Ground Advantage will be offered.  Delivery time is not very much longer than priority mail.  Priority mail will also be offered if you want quicker delivery…or if you’re Really in a Hurry….Expre$$ mail.

Packaging:  We use, or fabricate, external boxes for all games, puzzles, etc. to protect them as much as we can from the excesses of the USPS.  If other boxes are used, they will be sized as close as possible.  Both methods are to keep the weight to an absolute minimum and thus the postage costs.

 Returns:  Buyer is to pay postage BOTH ways unless we have made a mistake in description or other misleading oversights.  Most of our items come from various sources such as consignment shops, estate sales, garage sales, etc.  While our home is non smoking, we don’t know the history of the previous owners.  If it’s noticeably smoky or musty, it won’t be offered. 

IF A REFUND IS NECESSARY, IN MOST CASES, PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT EBAY – SEND ME A MESSAGE.  If there is a problem, I will quickly issue you a refund but on an inexpensive item I do not want Ebay to automatically send you a shipping label that I have to pay for.  An item of $5 or less is better kept, tossed, or donated as I don’t want to pay return postage to then toss it away here at home.

 Unless there are extenuating circumstances, all purchases will be mailed within 2 days of receiving payment.  Payment is expected within 3 days of the end of auction.
