This hand-carved rosewood box has a carved medallion of mandarin ducks, which represent love and fidelity in Chinese culture. With an orange velvet lining, it's perfect for storing jewelry and other small items. 

It features a front latch and a small Chinese character symbol at the front right.

It measures approx. 9.75" long x 4.5" wide x 1.75" tall. 

This is in great vintage condition. There are a few surface cracks in the wood, on the top and the bottom. These can be seen in the pics.
