Caution:

  • When using the AUTOOL SDT50 Auto Smoke Leak Detector for the first time, fill it with 10 ml of oil. Please ensure not to exceed this amount.

  • Test Liquid: baby oil is acceptable.(not included)

  • Fresh oil can only be added when the smoke becomes thin, and no more than 20 ml should be added at a time.

  • Before adding fresh oil, please drain the remaining oil from the detector and regularly replace the detector oil.

  • During the leak detection process, please keep away from smoke-sensitive components.

  • The detector should not run continuously for more than 8 minutes; it requires a rest period.

  • The detector features intelligent protection, and if it exceeds the operating limit (e.g., temperatures above 75°C), it will automatically shut off. In this case, please operate it later.

  • The round part of the detector can become hot; please handle with care to avoid burns.

  • If the test pipe needs to be disconnected in the middle, please seal the other side with a rubber stopper.

  • A: This machine built in an air pump, you don't need to connect your own air source to get the fumes out of the unit.
  • Q: What testing oil should be added?
  • A: This device does not contain any liquid. Please purchase baby oil as testing oil in local shops if you cannot find professional testing oil.
  • Q: How much testing oil should be added?
  • A: It is suggested to add 10-20ml testing oil. Please do not exceed this range. Otherwise, it will cause the device to not emit smoke. Please drain some testing oil out if you add too much accidentally. You can reuse the extra next time.
