Advantage: Easy to install. Before replacing the backflow prevention valve, please turn off the water supply and apply the attached lubricating grease on the valve cover and bronze valve threads. The replacement parts of the pressure vacuum circuit breaker can be repaired from the top of the device. The installation can be completed in a few minutes without the need for special tools.

Step：

1.Close the outlet shutoff valve,then close the inlet shutoff valve,drain the residual water completely. Then unscrew the top nut and release the brass canopy. Take out the old Bonnet & Poppet parts and dispose.

2.Put the new poppet inside the chamber.Unscrew the nuts from the bonnet copper column,then hand tighten the bonnet part clockwise into the vacuum breaker(Apply grease on threading if needed.) Place the canopy onto the secured bonnet part by put bonnet column through the canopy hole. Tighten the top nuts back to secure the canopy.

3.Open the inlet ball valve to pressurize the device,temporary "splash"is normal,the "splash"will auto shutoff once the device is fully pressurized.Then slowly open the outlet ball valve to fill the downstream line.
