This is a high-quality knife series with a black finish that Sakai Takayuki Cutlery is proud of, forged repeatedly in the fiercely burning crimson flames.
The blade is carefully hammered out of Yasugi Aogami No. 2, giving it a sharp cutting edge and a tenacious finish.
The flame mark engraved deep into the core of the blade represents a fiercely burning flame, and is also a testament to the unwavering belief and pride of the craftsmen.
This is a Japanese-style knife that is the epitome of Sakai forged cutlery, using Yasugi Aogami No. 2, which is sharp and durable, and allows you to enjoy a sharp cutting edge despite being double-edged. This is a work by Sakai blacksmith Ituo Doi, who has inherited the secret techniques for three generations. Each knife is carefully handcrafted and can be used with any type of food, including meat, fish, and vegetables.

He believes that steel becomes stronger when it is tempered, and continues to make excellent blades every day.
