This is a brass Harry Potter Golden Snitch in a custom wooden box that was given away as an executive gift after the first movie and is very rare. It comes with its display stand, which I haven't seen sold with this Golden Snitch as well as a rolled certificate of authenticity which reads:


"This certificate hereby authenticates that you have received a GOLDEN SNITCH, inspired by the actual Golden Snitch as seen in the Warner Bros. motion picture "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone". Based on the novel by J.K. Rowling. Your collectible Golden Snitch which is made of solid brass with a gold plated ball and silver wings is a rare find for they are not available in stores anywhere in the world!

The Golden Snitch is the fourth and most important ball used in a game called Quidditch. Compared with the Quaffle and the Bludgers, it is tiny, about the size of a large walnut...it is bright gold and has little fluttering silver wings. A game of Quidditch only ends when the Snitch is caught. So it can go on for ages.

A Snitch is quick and difficult to catch - so consider yourself lucky...for you have caught a Golden Snitch!

This has spent decades in a smoke free home and was only opened to take the photos so is in excellent condition.
