LOVELY ANTIQUE TABLE COVER

Lovely hand made antique linen and cotton lace table runner measuring about 44" long by 26" wide. Featuring beautiful craftsmanship, it is made with point de Venise lacework in scrolling florals and leaves - detail, design and fine stitchwork is amazing. Dating 1920s, this belonged to my Grandmother - she dressed her table every Christmas with this ecru toned runner, covered with a variety of antique crystal and similar glass figures. She traveled extensively, and I'm assuming this was purchased in Italy.

Condition is very nice - as shown it has a tiny dot of discoloration on the edge, several spots of candle wax, 2 tan marks, several separations of the simple line connectors at the ring area, and light age related usage wear. It has never been cleaned, and I think that would remove several of the stains. It displays beautifully in this condition and elevates a simple dining table to another level. Hoping someone will love it as our family has - pretty addition to any home, table, collection or display!
