Green Dragon Cress is my favorite filler here on my flower farm! The color starts out in a light apple green and then transitions into a combination of pink, peach, and green. The stems are super strong with each plant (stem) producing about 6-12 branches full of these tiny pods that look fantastic in a bouquet. The foliage has a long vase life and is light and airy. When making a bouquet, I often place one branch that has many side branches in a vase and then place my flowers in-between all the little stems which helps support each flower stem. My customers comment all the time that they love this filler! They don't need fertile ground as they love dry and often sandy soil. Pinching plants is not necessary. This cress also dries beautifully and holds its bright green color! The last photo was taken of some of the seeds that I personally sprouted in a damp paper towel.
