This is in excellent condition and measures 12" square.  The back is a blue metal that as you can see there are some minor scratches from where you would hang this.  This does not at all effect.  This is signed on the bottom edge of the plate Bjorn Wiinblad and dated 1982.     Please look closely at my photos for details.  Item 622 K
