Imperfect pieces, for repair or restoration. From an estate collection of several old Majolica pieces. At first glance, it seems to be ok... but upon close examination, you'll see the glaze and paint flakes in spots on the edges and high spots which are typical of this type of handmade pottery. Further examination reveals most every piece (bodies and lids) to have hairline cracks and chips as shown throughout the photos. Also has the usual crazing of the clear glaze, although it's minor. For your reference, the teapot measures about 7" from the tip of the spout to the end of the handle. I am offering this AS-IS set because it's charming and could be displayed in a setting where it might look ok... but it's really had a rough life and needs a professional restoration.
