A small 2 3/8" tall oval-shaped antique aspirin tablets bottle from WILMSLOW, UK.  This is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE hand Blown Into Mold bottle (BIM) with a tooled top, dating back to early 1900.

  • Bottle's label reads in part:  "COMPRESSED TABLETS OF ... ASPIRIN ... C. CHARNLEY, Pharmacist WILMSLOW ..."

  • Condition:   Bottle AND label are in nice clean condition, NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc.  The little tin cap too is in good condition.  PLEASE SEE pictures to get a good  idea of the bottle’s overall appearance and condition.

  • Age:  An ORIGINAL ANTIQUE hand-blown bottle (Blown-In-Mold = BIM) with a tooled-top, ca. early 1900.

These little oval shaped hand blown pill bottles are always popular among collectors. They were made in this shape so they could easily fit into a pocket or purse but as time went on, they were eventually replaced with tin containers, wooden boxes and eventually paper tubes, much like Tums or Rolaids come in today.   NOT a lot of these little pill bottles have survived the elements of time, this is a finite item, only so many have survived the ravages of time, check it out!
