Offered for sale is this fine antique woven porcelain basket hand painted with Dresden flowers and decorated with gold decoration. It bears the Crown Dresden mark which was registered by several companies in 1883, notably Donath & Co, and dates to circa 1900 to 1914, after the unification of Germany. Donath & Co was a Dresden decorating firm, who used blanks from several sources.

The round footed basket is 9 5/8 inches wide by 2 5/8 inches tall. It weighs 13 oz (shipping weight 3 lbs).

Condition: Very good, no chips or cracks. There is some rubbing on the gold of the rim as shown. Please view the detail photos.
