An uncommon First American edition by Jane Rule, made into the cult Sudance hit "Desert Hearts," often considered a precursor to "Thelma and Louise," and highly regarded as one of the first films to portray a lesibian relationship in a positive light; the novel from which it is based being a noteworthy early classic of lesbian fiction.
