A rare first edition of David Fraser's uncommon travel book, bound in a decorative maroon cloth cover with gilt titles.  Some general wear from age (rubbing/light fading to the cover, browning/smudge marks inside).  Includes a fold-out map near the back.  Binding in good condition with some light play (weakening/cracking a little bit near the beginning alongside the advertisements).  A trace of indented writing alongside the map in the back. A rare find.
