1320 Performance Differential Axle Breather Kit - 8ft long hose
we design our kit using the best quality hardware our Brass fittings will not rust or deteriorate over time. we include 8ft of high quality hose so you can locate the axle breather any where you like we usually mount it in the bed of the truck. we have use this kit on our rig for over 4 years and put over 85k miles and countless river crossings and every 20k miles we change the Diff fluid it's always super clean no worry about water damage.
When drivetrain assemblies such as your toyota differentials, gearbox and transfer case heat up under normal operation, the air inside expands and increases pressure. To vent this additional pressure, most factory differentials have a one-way valve mounted to either the assembly itself, or on a short extension tube close by. Unfortunately, when the drivetrain assembly cools down, the air inside contracts, creating a vacuum. When cooling occurs during a water crossing, these one-way valves can draw water into the system, potentially causing expensive damage. our 1320 performance Differential Breather Kit is designed to provide a high-flow, zero back pressure, zero vacuum breather system to keep your drivetrain free of water. Our kit come with 8ft hose you can positioned high enough to avoid water during crossings such as inside the bed of the truck (please see our pictures)
