【Feature】Our Mid Frame Section was designed to fit the 2nd Gen Tacoma Mid-rear frame section where the forward end of the rear leaf spring mounts to the frame. This part begins right at the rear cab mount and ends 12″ after the rear bed mount.
【Installation】The leaf spring mount will need to be removed from the frame by cutting the rivet heads off and drilling them out. Once removed the frame repair section can be installed and your leaf spring mount can be re-attached either with nut and bolts or by welding it back on. The Mid Frame Section has 3 cut lines in the area of the rear bed mount, giving you the option to notch the frame kit around the rear bed mount if the metal behind it is good.
