The Tamiya Lunchbox 1/12 scale RC Monster Truck was designed around a classic NiCd/NiMH battery pack. Modern hard case LiPo packs have a hard time fitting the model due to the low profile battery slot.


This modification, consisting out of a slightly longer battery guard as well as 3 spacers to add additional room to the battery compartment, can be printed and installed in minutes.

  • Made of a durable 3D Printed composite plastic
  • Install the new battery guard in place of the original brace (reuse the 2 original screws) and place the spacer between the out shell and the vehicle body as shown in the picture above.
