1959 Press Photo Gene Littler finishes first round in the US Open Golf Tourney

This is an original press photo. Mamaroneck, New York-Gene Littler of El Cajon California uses an iron to hit one to the 18th green as he finishes his first round in the US Open Golf Tourney with a 69 to tie for the lead today at Winged Foot. At left is Littler's caddy and watching the shot intently is Doug Ford, a playing partner. Photo measures 7 x 9.5 inches. Photo is dated 6-11-1959.
