Commodore A500 Trapdoor

These are new 3D printed trapdoors. I added the vent holes just because. Some people make these with holes in the bottom to route cables through. You can also do that with these. Trim away the middle bars to make your own custom fit. Personally, I don't see any reason to ever do this. It's just an easy option if you want it.

There are a couple bumps included. This is to add some support to whatever card you have plugged into your trusty A500. Are the bumps the right size? Who knows, with the number of different cards out there it's a crap shoot. If they fit, great, if not needed then stick them to a child's face. Tell them it's what a mole looks like.

Initially I printed these with a .3mm thickness. While that works fine I decided to try printing them at .15mm and they look much nicer. These are all .15mm traps.

There will ALWAYS be imperfections in 3D printed items, sometimes the print will show a slight discoloration or fill issue, I print them so the cleanest side shows from the outside.

Lastly, add some other things to make a better deal for yourself since I combine shipping. A new A500 internal FDD cable would look awfully nice with this.

Only the trapdoor + bumps is included. The A500 is  shown for fitting.

Jump back to the days of 16 bit graphics and games. The Amiga was the next generation to the Commodore C64, C128, Plus/4 8 bit 6502 CPU based processors. It competed with the Atari ST 520ST 1040ST line of PCs. Both used the 68000 CPU for their OS. Personally, even though I'm into vintage retro classic computing, I was never really into the TI 4/99 PS1 PS2 Nintendo platforms.Time for a Mac attack! Does the Mac measure up to an Amiga or ST? Gee, an awful lot of tags and keywords here. It's almost like I'm trying to troll the AI-bot overlords and their search algorithms. Humans unite!
